Oilfield experience working as MWD/LWD field engineer trainee with Schlumberger. Worked in two drilling projects with Total E&P and OMV. Moved into the Oil and Gas business to work on Oil & Gas business and technical development in two startups in Kuwait and Malaysia with a focus on developing the companies’ Oil and Gas business. Worked on early stage Well Integrity, Well Plug & Abandonment and Decommissioning technology identification & development projects.
Bachelor Degree (Honors) in petroleum engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, specialized in enhanced oil recovery (EOR), particularly in the field of gas-flooding enhanced oil recovery which was the focus of final year project. A recipient of various awards and honors such as; Universiti Teknologi Malaysia’s Alumni Excellence Award, Faculty of Petroleum Engineering Dean’s Excellence Award, Academic Excellence Award, best public speaker award and the second prize recipient at the National Petroleum Engineering Design Competition in Beijing, China.
