Alessandro is Senior Programme Officer in the Economics and Investment Office where he co-leads the World Energy Investment Report. He is also responsible for the IEA Energy Business Council, the overarching body founded and Chaired by the IEA Executive Director, Dr Fatih Birol, through which the IEA interacts with the private sector. He also supports the Executive Director in several activities. Until 2015 he has been a senior analyst in the World Energy Outlook team. Before joining the IEA, he worked in Eni, WEC and the Italy’s Prime Minister Office as Personal Assistant to Prime Minister Personal Representative for Energy and Climate Change. He graduated with honors in marine geophysics in Bologna University and completed a Master in Energy Resources Management.
